Thinking of coming to class?

What to Expect

Group Yoga classes are held in Irthlingborough. Classes are 90 minutes long, and include a

warm up, posture practice, breathing practice and then finish with a relaxation practice.

You'll typically start and finish the class lying down!

Private classes can be held in your own home or garden (weather permitting),

or alternatively at my home in Rushden.

What to bring?

If you've got your own Yoga mat and props e.g. brick, block, strap, etc. then great!

We do have a limited amount of spare Yoga kit that you're free to borrow, until you get your own.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in (no jeans!)

Bring with you a blanket, as your body temperature does tend to drop during relaxation practice.

What comes next?

Before you take your first class, you'll be asked to complete a questionnaire and give some health information - this helps us to ensure you are able to join the class and practice in a healthy and safe way.

After each class, you'll receive an email that summarises the Yoga philosophy or Yogic concept that we learned that week, with some recommended reading or supporting information to keep your learning going off the mat!
